You will come in out of the cold into a great warm house lit for a wedding, all candles and lilies and a loving murmur, where every soul who feared to be passed over is chosen at last and adored forever and kept at the center of the loving room. There is a chair with your name on the card. One reminder, with our compliments: the way out is real, and this time it asks whether you can walk away unchosen, leave no ring and no place at the table and no vow, and go out into the cold street alive.
